Our goal is to assist you with the completion of the State of Missouri's Graduated Driver's License Program.
Your Turn 2 Drive is devoted to providing safe and responsible behind-the-wheel training, and evaluations for teens and adults, whether novice or experienced drivers. It is our vision to help save lives and put skilled, responsible drivers on the road. We use recommended methods of training that are fun and relaxing for everyone involved.
We offer a variety of dates and times for instruction. If you are 15 years of age, you are required to have an instruction permit. You will take a written test of 25 multiple-choice questions. You must correctly answer 20 questions to pass the test. All questions come directly from information found in the State of Missouri Driver Guide.
You MUST have a licensed adult driver with you while operating a motor vehicle.
If you are 16 or 17 years of age, you are required to have 40 (30 daytime, 10 nighttime) hours of private, behind-the-wheel training to promote safe driving when testing.
Adult students wanting only driving lessons may immediately start behind-the-wheel instruction to learn basic safe driving or to improve their driving skills. There are no hour requirements for those that are 18 years or older and your driving hours do not need to be with a driving instructor.
While we allow our accomplished, approved students to schedule an instructor and our car to take the road test for an additional fee, we do not rent our car to others for that or any other purpose.
Driving lessons are one-on-one with a private driving instructor behind the wheel. Lessons are only given in the instructor's car which is equipped with a safety brake. We offer driving instruction seven days a week (upon availability). The number of hours behind the wheel that it will take you to become a proficient driver will depend on how many hours you have already had behind the wheel. If you have no experience, it could take up to 20 hours (more or less) of instruction to have the skill set to pass your driver's exam, each student is different.
We tailor a driving plan around your abilities. YT2D has created an extensive driver's evaluation form to assist you in identifying strengths and weaknesses creating your unique driving curriculum to make you the most successful, safe, and skilled driver you can be.
Being behind the wheel of a motor vehicle is a major responsibility. Driving is a privilege and safety is a MUST!

Schedules may be altered due to inclement weather.
