Driving Instructor

Meet Kimberly Branson

With over 41 years of driving experience, Kimberly has ridden and owned motorcycles, operated autos with manual transmissions, 4WD, and sport utility vehicles, and even did a little racing back in the day. Being raised in a house of all boys, cars were a huge part of her family’s lives and driving brought tremendous joy. 


After several years of working with young mothers that did not have a license and/or had never been behind the wheel of an auto, Kimberly realized there was a huge need for driving lessons to help drivers gain their independence and become self-sufficient. 


Kimberly is very passionate about helping people and decided to be a part of the solution by becoming a Driving Instructor. She aspires to create a relaxed, calm learning environment for her students as she believes this achieves the best results. Being credentialed as a client success coach, she has the ability to recognize anxiety and nervousness caused by being in an unfamiliar situation. It is so important to remain calm and feel confident behind the wheel and she will help you get there.

At Your Turn 2 Drive, your safety is our number one priority. You will receive instruction in our 2025 Mazda3.  

The Mazda3 is recognized as one of the safest vehicles in its class, earning top industry distinctions including the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award and a 5‑Star Overall Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). These ratings reflect the vehicle’s strong crash‑test performance, advanced structural engineering, and comprehensive suite of driver‑assistance technologies such as automatic emergency braking, lane‑keeping support, blind‑spot monitoring, and stability control.

In addition to the vehicle’s built‑in safety systems, this Mazda3 is equipped with a dual‑control instructor brake, providing an added layer of operational safety during training. This secondary brake allows a certified instructor to intervene immediately if necessary, ensuring controlled stopping in unexpected situations and significantly reducing instructional risk. The combination of the Mazda3’s award‑winning safety design and the instructor brake creates a highly secure environment for driver education and supervised practice.
